  1. Wow, while I am not exactly floored to see and learn of your "very cool" idea I am surprised to find your photograph on the internet under the very title Mirrors Made from Toilet Seats! Once again the theory; "Great Minds Think Alike" is proven true :)! I began my "Exotic Mirrors", made from new purchased toilet seats over a decade ago! And I don't want to crush YOUR enthusiasm (not that I even could I'm certain-if they have gotten the rave that mine have!) that WE ARE NOT ALONE in our creative ingenious idea! There is yet another who exists whom I stumbled across (after I had gotten comfortable with creating my own) through reading. The gentleman is quite up in age and displays his wares on his front lawn. He uses political rhetoric to make statements and "expresses" his views-putting it humorously, on his toilet seats and lids. I began my hobby over a decade ago living in Wash., DC , MD, VA Metropolitan area. My first public experience & debut with my new found idea was at P.G. Comm. College Entrepreneur Exhibition. I got rave reviews and was later interviewed in my home by a reporter for the campus newspaper with a photograph of me and my wares! I've worked full time in law enforcement and raised 1 son and have a 16 yr old now but initially I worked full time (and O/T) as a law enforcement officer when I first debuted my Idea. I was also captured &/ Documented on the Chanel 4 News by D C anchor Sam Ford with my "mirrors made from toilet seats". I now call them "Exotic Mirrors"! I have been perfecting them for quite some time and am still enthusiastically and fondly admired by my viewers and customer base! I won second place at the Prince Georges County Fair Craft Show the year that I displayed my pieces there. I would have won first place however someone had touched/tampered with the display causing 1 of the items attached to it to fall off, otherwise I was told my entry would have easily won first place in it's category. I've been featured in other venues and recently since my move from the MD DC VA area I am back on the circuit, my next show being in a very new area for me, GA. I am excited to know that someone else is out here "complimenting toilet seats" like me! I have many supporters in my quests and I am continuously tweaking and perfecting my craft as well as generating NEW ideas with the concept. Good Luck with your adventures and venture of mirrors made from toilet seats! You can email me if you like and we can talk "exotict-ly" about the once-bathroom fixture:) artuunique1@gmail.com
