24/366 - Storm clouds gather over Tahunanui beach

Snapped on the way home from Nelson this evening. If you look really closely you can just about make out the kite-surfers in the distance. Heavy rain forecast for tomorrow. . .

23/366 - My first ever homemade halloumi cheese

Homemade halloumi, fried in olive oil and with a big dollop of homemade ratatouille on the side. YUM!!!!

Milk from the ever-generous cows at Wangapeka Downs, and cheese-making supplies from Mapua Country Trading.

22/366 - "Aotearoa" mural by Christopher Finlayson, 1984

Adorning the old Electricity Department building, Tahunanui, Nelson

Subtitled: "We need to keep the window open on our relationships and let nature merge the connections."

Photo taken on iPhone and then manipulated using the "Snapseed" app from iTunes.
The little one above was was the original photo. . . but then I played around with it using Snapseed (downloaded today from iTunes for only NZ$6.49 and it's well worth it!) and got the two photos below. . .
I added a frame to the one on the right, in order to create the finished shot at the top. All in a matter of seconds. Wow! Thanks for the recommendation, R!!
